Baptism at the Beach

On July 25, 2006 we met at the beach in Cape Coral, near the mouth of the Caloosahatchee River, for a service of baptism.

A threatening storm was approaching, but God graciously held off the rains for our service.

Pastor Tom Ascol opened the service with Scripture Reading and Prayer.

Pastor Ken Puls led the hymn singing on the guitar.

Pastor Ascol baptized Steve Stone and Lenny Booth and then preached a message from the surf to members of our church as well as some curious onlookers.

After witnessing this public profession of faith in Christ, some in our congregation had the opportunity to share the gospel with folks at the beach. It was an encouraging evening.
